What is folacin and how does it work?

Folacin is our contribution to the development of cosmetology. We often call it "the source of youth" because it's one of the most effective and innovative ingredients stimulating the regeneration of skin cells DNA, which activates the reconstruction processes and protects them against photoageing. Folacin is simply folic acid in its 100% active form, closed in special lipid carriers, the so-called cellular penetration promoters that allow us to maintain active ingredient stability and to reach into deeper layers of the skin, providing permanent and strengthened effect. In-vitro research showed a very strong impact of folic acid on the regeneration of skin cells and activation of division processes.

We observed as skin cells not subjected to the action of folic acid gradually show the characteristics of ageing cells according to their biological age; while cells cultured in the presence of folacin were still demonstrating the characteristics of young cells despite the passing time.
Additionally, our tests proved that folacin shows synergistic action with other ingredients, strengthening their action and forming strong active complexes e.g. with vitamin E, copper or vitamin B 12.

Folacin (folic acid) – B group vitamin, its name is derived because it can be found in green leaves (folium-leaf). It participates in synthesis of constituent elements of DNA and of amino acids, is necessary for the development and maturing of red blood cells, takes part in the creation of the nervous system. Its deficiency may lead to serious health problems – anemia, increased risk of heart attacks and cerebral strokes.

Women's dream is not only to stop the time but also to turn back its course, is it possible?

We had these dreams of the elixir of youth for a very long time now. Especially us, women, we are always looking for ways of preserving our young appearance. Today's cosmetology and research supporting it constantly aim at discovering the secret of youth. It seems that we are getting closer and closer to understanding and controlling the ageing processes. In our Lirene Research Laboratory for nearly 30 years we have been testing various active substances and their influence on processes occurring in the skin. Thanks to that we are able to develop unique, safe cream formulas with confirmed effectiveness.

Is the face cream able to bring back the youth in skin?

A properly selected face cream with suitable ingredients, if used regularly, actually may significantly improve skin condition and delay the signs of the passing time. Healthy, well-moistened and nourished skin looks younger and is more resistant to the negative influence of the external environment.

It is best to always choose the cream individually, depending on the actual condition of skin. However, you should remember that after 40 years of age women should reach for "richer" creams, with active ingredients helping skin in the process of regeneration and offering additional protection against forming of premature wrinkles. One of the ingredients acting as such is folacin.

How did you use this knowledge when creating anti-wrinkle Lirene Folacin creams?

The effectiveness of these solutions and high utility value of our creams are also confirmed by very good results of application tests. For example among women evaluating the Folacin Intense day cream as much as 97% of probans* noticed visible wrinkles reduction, improvement in the skin flexibility and as a result, rejuvenation of the shape of the face. Results for other products are comparably good.
